10th March 2024, 08:30 p.m.

​Yuji and I had a meeting about building our initial ideas and production logo today. We started off with sharing our initial ideas for the coursework. Then, we carried on the work by doing some name and logo brainstorm for our production company.

13th March 2024
10:20 a.m.

We have finalized our production company - it will be called 'Eye Productions'. We spent the remaining time of this meeting generating ideas for our logo.

14th March 2024
10:20 a.m.

Yuji spent time designing our production company's logo while I was in charge of working on our script. By the end of the meeting, both of our first drafts are finished and ready to be improved  :)

15h March 2024
3:30 p.m.

We spent the whole afternoon working on our very first storyboard draft. It was also another great chance for us to go through the characters and film themes together.

16th March 2024
08:00 p.m.

We started working on our film pitch - which will be presented to the whole class around a week later. Moreover, we also prepared for our 'short trip' for location scouting the next day.

17th March 2024, 10:30 a.m.

We met at Cat Linh Train Station for our location scouting. We also paid a short visit to La Thanh Train Station (which belongs to the same route) to check if there was anything different (they were relatively similar). The trip was perfect!

19th March 2024, 10:20 a.m.

Yuji and I started discussing about the equipment and budget needed for the film. As he progresed with his budget sheet, I went on correcting and planning our film pitch.

21st March 2024, 08:45 a.m.

We moved on to risk assessments and other official documents, which were needed to be made. Yuji was responsible for those tasks, so I was in charge of another one: casting and audition. We spent the whole period working and planning.

24th March 2024
08:30 p.m.

Yuji and I spent the night rehearsing over the pitch as we planned out clearing the content and duration for each section. We also added possible feedbacks/questions.

26th March 2024
10:20 a.m.

Pitch day is today! Unfortunately, Yuji couldn't be here due to personal issues. Luckily, I sucessfully executed the pitch 'flawlessly' and our film received half of the class' invest vote!

28th March 2024
08:45 a.m.

In the final steps of planning, Yuji worked on the remaining tasks such as the shooting schedule. I also help with the shot list, equipment list and also looked for our potential cast. Luckily, we all managed to get things done by April.
